These horrifying stories play out over and over again, with officials in nearly every state passing the buck because they “don’t have jurisdictional authority” or “we can’t measure turbine noise so No standard is THE standard.” The economically unsustainable nature of the entire industry is not hard to figure out so it is hard to fathom why any sane, reasonable, intelligent person in a leadership position would support this! The only satisfaction I get when I read articles like this comes from the knowledge that Minnesota is not the only state in the US that has stupid and spineless leaders.
